At VFLI, each and every member of staff contributes to the overall success of our company and plays a unique and essential role in the quality of the services provided to our clients. Under the leadership of Alain Ribat, our Executive Committee is responsible for the day-to-day running of VFLI.
Find out more below about the members of our Executive Committee and their backgrounds and experience.

A principle of governance founded on engagement and enthusiasm.

Composed of 7 members, VFLI's Executive Committee defines the corporate strategy and oversees its implementation. Together, we make the key decisions about how the company is run and we ensure that added value is delivered to our clients, to our shareholder and to our employees.

The members of our Executive Committee

Alain Ribat, Chief Executive Officer

After graduating from ESSEC business school, I worked in a range of different professional environments: I began my career in the consulting business (at Accenture), then manufacturing (Valeo) and mass merchandising (Carrefour), a sector in which I discovered the world of logistics. I subsequently joined Geodis in 2005 before moving on to SNCF and finally VFLI as CEO since 2014.

Our leadership team shares with all our employees a strong sense of commitment and unbridled enthusiasm to implement a long-term and ambitious growth strategy.

Pierre Trarieux, Chief Production Officer

An engineering graduate of the higher education institute for industrial art and design ("Arts et Métiers") and the institute of corporate administration (IAE Paris), I began my career in purchasing at Shell before moving into supply chain management at Peugeot. Equipment, haulage, traffic control centres, freight… I then held several different posts at SNCF, providing me with a complete vision of production in the railway sector.

I joined VFLI in 2015. On a day-to-day basis I work with all the different VFLI entities with a view to improving our organization and procedures. What I particularly like about VFLI is the enthusiastic attitude of all our teams, at all levels of the company.

Philippe David, Chief Financial Officer

My entire career has been spent in the transport industry (for both passengers and freight). After an initial experience in financial auditing, I joined the Nouvelles Frontières group.

I then took up a position at Giraud International, a road haulage company purchased in 2010 by Geodis, where I continued my career development. Armed with this experience within SNCF Logistics, I joined VFLI in 2012 where, with the backing of the finance and administration teams and the other company departments, I contribute to ensuring the profitable growth of our business and guaranteeing the long-term future of our company.

Alain LLor, Sales Director

After obtaining a chemical engineering degree and a master's degree in Marketing from ESSEC business school, I began my career as a Project Engineer in the industrial lubricants field.

I have a perfect knowledge of the transport and logistics sector, having held a number of key positions, first of all in SNCF's freight division and then VFLI. As Sales Director at VFLI since 2013, I enjoy working as part of a team and I place a special degree of importance on being an attentive listener and working closely with clients, two of the genuine strengths of our company. I have seen VFLI grow year by year and I am proud of the progress that we have made together.

Jean-Luc Tressol, Operations Director

I have a long history of expertise in the railway sector, having worked my way up little by little through the ranks. Initially a train driver, then a driving trainer before being appointed manager of my own business unit, I have spent all of my working life within SNCF, joining VFLI in 2016.

A grass-roots manager, pragmatic and highly operational, my role is to ensure that our clients' goods are delivered on time and in perfect condition to the right place and also to oversee the good working order of all our logistics services delivered on industrial sites. In a nutshell, my day-to-day work is all about keeping the ship on course, come hell or high water.

Thierry Conduché, Quality & Safety Director

I have followed in the footsteps of my father, my grandfather and my great-grandfather, all of them railway men. Drawing upon 35 years' experience within SNCF, it is this railroad heritage and culture that I wish to uphold and to pass on to present and future generations.

Since 2016, I have been VFLI's "Mr Safety" and as such my primary concern is to ensure the absolute protection of our employees and of all goods that have been entrusted to us. As far as prevention is concerned, I am a proponent of "fair and equal", an approach based on confidence and trust and that makes it possible to be aware of performance shortfalls and to take appropriate measures to ensure that they do not occur again.

Yazid Oultaf, Human Resources Director

Specialized in Labour Law and Human Resource Management, I have held positions in legal affairs, labour relations and general HR activities within the framework of reorganization and development programs at General Electric and then later at Geodis.

As VFLI's Human Resources Director since 2008, I have provided the company with key input in managing the people who work there during a period of strong growth. Working at VFLI, is all about moving forwards in a convivial atmosphere, within a team in which all members are encouraged to give the very best of themselves.
